Throwing out the traditional playbook is what building concept skis is all about. Blizzard did just that and used the Spur Concept as an opportunity to build the ultimate deep snow ski.

The original home of their Dynamic Release Technology, that places carbon in the tips and tails with metal underfoot for low swing weight and rock solid stability, the Spur Concept is among the most original skis designs around. Employing a laundry list of innovations, from an asymmetrical sidecut and tip-tail profiles that make sure the Spur Concept floats effortlessly at all speeds, to oversized sidewalls that float even while on edge, to a tiny bit of camber in between the heavily rockered tips and tails.

At 124mm underfoot and with a generous amount of rocker its obvious what the Spur Concept is all about. Just don’t write off its 192 only length too quickly, even smaller and less experienced skiers can benefit from the Spur Concepts powder day ambitions.
