K2 Almanac 2025

The ALL-NEW K2 Almanac snowboard is crafted to conquer the entire resort while excelling in turning performance. As the latest addition to the Volume Shift™ lineup, this board is purpose-built for daily use. Drawing inspiration from models like the Party Platter and Excavator, the Almanac forges its own unique path.

When choosing the Almanac, you’ll want to size down ~5cm, due to it’s wider than average outline - so if you normally ride a 158cm snowboard, you’ll want to get your hands on the 153cm length for lapping your favorite run at the resort.

The Almanac is packed with cutting-edge tech, ensuring top-notch performance across the entire resort. It features camber underfoot with raised contact points at the tip and tail, providing the perfect balance of snap for energetic turns and a smooth, fluid transition from edge to edge. From the ground up, it’s built with a fast and durable sintered 4000 base, a lively core made from bamboo, aspen, and poplar woods, and a bi-axial fiberglass weave. The tip-to-tail carbon backbone delivers powerful Ollies over slow signs. Additionally, the Almanac includes an extra set of inserts for both the front and back foot, allowing you to set your bindings further back for added float on powder days.

Construction & Tech

Volume Shift - Reduced swing weight and toe/heel drag by shifting surface area from the tip and tail to the waist of the snowboard. Downsize from 4-10 cm from your usual snowboard length.

Hybridtech Construction - Backed by years of rigorous testing, Hybritech™ is the lightest weight, most durable snowboard construction on the market. Removing all excess sidewall material in the tip and tail and adding a 3D capped edge to increase the bond strength of the fiberglass and decrease the swing weight of the board is what makes Hybritech so revolutionary. Our boards will spin faster, maneuver easier, and last longer than any other boards on the market.

Base - Sintered 4000, Stone Finish

Core - BAP: A tri-blend wood core harnesses the rebound, strength, and feel of sustainably harvested Bamboo, Aspen, and Paulownia timber species.

Snowboard Glass - Biax: A fiberglass weave intersecting at 90º angles provides the proper torsional flexibility and strength.

Carbon Backbone - A pre-cambered carbon inlay centered between the inserts specifically designed to add snap and pop to every ollie and takeoff.
