The Atomic Remedy 130 is a top-tier boot designed for skiers who demand uncompromising performance. It's stable, powerful, and inspires confidence no matter how hard you push it. Whether you're carving turns on groomed runs, powering through chopped-up snow, or tackling technical terrain, the Remedy can handle it all. Paired with even the burliest skis, the Remedy 130 delivers the power you need to drive them. Despite being a low-volume boot, it’s well-designed to address common pressure points, and with a heat-moldable shell and liner, it offers an easy fit. Think of it as the Kerry Gold Butter of ski boots…if you know, you know.
The Atomic Remedy 130 is a low-volume ski boot, but its anatomically designed shell and liner offer a snug yet comfortable fit that’s not too tight. The toe box is shaped to mirror the natural contours of your foot, providing extra room for the tips and inside of the big toe, as well as the outside of the pinky toe and 5th metatarsal. Both the shell and liner are heat-moldable, allowing for customization to suit various foot shapes. If you've worn a low-volume boot before, the Remedy will feel right at home. Even if you're used to a mid-volume boot, don’t be put off by the narrow last; it’s designed to be generous in the right areas, ensuring a consistent and secure fit.
Features & Tech Specs
Buckles
- 4 Micro-adjustable magnesium
Power Strap
55mm elastic "Professional Dual Strap"
The Remedy 130 comes equipped with Atomic’s Professional Dual Strap, which is 55 mm wide. It features a split design at the front, combining elastic materials with an adjustable Velcro section, allowing you to fine-tune the balance between a more static or elastic feel. To adjust the overall tension or fully release it, the strap includes a cam-style buckle.
Cuff
- PU Material // Forward Lean: 16° (adjustable to 18°)
- Ramp Angle: 4°
- For the 25/26 season, Atomic has updated the cuff alignment hardware on their Redster and Remedy boots. The new version maintains the same size and shape as the previous one, meaning it’s compatible with older models, and still offers the same wide adjustment range of 4° (2° laterally and 2° medially). However, the updated hardware now includes finer increments, with indicators every 0.25°.
- On the spine of both the Remedy 130 and Redster TX boots, Atomic has integrated their race-inspired “Power Control” system. This feature lets you adjust the forward lean between 16° and 18°. If you choose to add a second bolt to the spine, it fully locks in your forward lean and cuff alignment settings, providing a more direct and responsive feel in the boot.
Liner
- The Remedy’s stock liner is closely aligned with Atomic’s 25/26 World Cup Race liner, featuring a full-lace design and the "Ankle Retention System." This system is designed to offer improved mechanical advantage and leverage compared to traditional lacing, aiming to deliver a more precise and secure fit around the ankle.
- Unlike the racing liners, the Remedy’s liner includes thermo-formed ankle foam for easier customization and enhanced cushioning. It also has an elastic cuff and tongue lining, making it easier to step in. Additionally, the liner features an adjustable tongue that can be moved forward or backward using a Velcro patch at the toe box.
