Sintered bases are very porous and allow the wax to stay on longer. This also helps with durability and gives you a faster glide while giving you a longer service life. 

Shorter contact length of the ski ensures that turn initiation is easier requiring less effort. 

Due to a special milling pattern, the weight of the poplar core is reduced by 25% without compromising on flex or torsional stiffness

A Titanal insert at the binding area prevents deforming when landing on a rail.
