Suspension Blade

This is the flagship technology of the Shadow series. Instead of a traditional solid spine, the back of the boot features a "blade" that connects the upper cuff to the lower shell.

This blade acts like a leaf spring in a car's suspension. When you flex the boot, the blade engages and helps to smoothly transfer energy from your body into the ski.

• Increased Power: Lange claims it allows you to generate up to 26% more power with less effort. It amplifies your input.

• Progressive Flex & Rebound: It creates a incredibly smooth, progressive flex that absorbs terrain chatter and provides a powerful rebound out of the turn, actively launching you into the next one.

• Reduced Fatigue: Because the boot amplifies your energy, you don't have to work as hard to drive the ski, leading to less fatigue over a long day.

Dual Pivot

Working in conjunction with the Suspension Blade, the pivot points on the boot have been redesigned.

There are two distinct pivot points on the ankle. This design allows the boot to have a more natural and efficient range of motion, providing better leverage over the ski. This mechanical advantage helps you engage the boot's flex more easily and efficiently, further contributing to the feeling of amplified power.

Auxetic Technology Liner

The liner features an innovative material with auxetic properties.

Auxetic materials, when stretched in one direction, expand in the other directions (unlike normal materials which get thinner). This creates a liner that can conform precisely to the unique shape of your foot, especially in tricky areas like the ankle and navicular bone. It provides an immediate, comfortable, and highly accurate fit that moves with you. The liner in the 110 is the Customizable Core Custom 2, which is fully thermo-moldable.

Dual Core Shell

This is a proven Lange technology carried over to the Shadow line.

The shell is made by injecting two different densities of plastic (harder and softer PU) into the mold simultaneously. This creates a "sandwich" of plastic. The harder plastic provides power and precision where needed (spine, chassis), while the softer plastic makes the boot easier to get on and off and improves the "wrap" around the foot.

GripWalk (GW) Soles

The boot comes standard with GripWalk soles.
