This true twin boasts a twist: it remains symmetrical from nose to tail but adopts asymmetry from edge to edge. Recognizing the greater effort required to initiate turns on the heel edge, the sidecut on this side has been intentionally tightened, creating an illusion of unevenness while effectively balancing the ride from toe to heel. Alongside a positive profile fostering enhanced carving control and heightened pop, the Gamma masterfully navigates deep snow and maintains its trajectory on compacted surfaces, in both directions.

Originally conceived for the Alpha and Beta models, the 3D-shaped Evolution Spoon Nose now graces a twin shape for the very first time. Positioned at the nose, it introduces a distinct rolling sensation during transitions between turns, along with augmented buoyancy in soft snow. Towards the tail, it establishes a novel, more relaxed connection for buttering or executing slashes, while the edges swiftly re-engage with a precise grip as soon as the board tilts.

In its APX iteration, the board arrives with a swifter, more enduring N-9000 base and dual carbon stringers flanking the core, heightening pop and reactivity. However, its unique standout feature is the Nidactive APX edge technology.

Construction:

Light Core – Nidecker's lightest core, featuring three different wood types. The Light Core is a perfect combination of paulownia for lightness, poplar for pop and responsiveness, and hardwood beech stringers along the edges to increase core durability, pop and protection from edge impacts.

Nidactive Sandwich – This next level construction steps up the power and response of Nidecker's standard sandwich manufacturing. Adding advanced materials like Carbon and Kevlar® gives the board more pop and improved shock absorption.

Biax Plus – Biax Plus retains the properties of Nidecker's tried and tested 90° biaxial fiberglass weave with more glass to enhance power transfer. It's uncompromising in its response and energy return, and loved and coveted by riders searching for a good blend of stiff & damp wherever they rip.
